152/365 (June 1st, 2009)

Pat's last day in The City!

I brought Katelynn to Times Square. I'm glad she hated it as much as I did!
We went to Central Park for a bit, but didn't have a lot of time there.
We went to a stupidly expensive sushi restaurant with some school kids. The place was called Sushi Samba, and it fused Japanese food with Lebanese food.
Alex was patiently waiting for our table to be ready.
Gomez at Terminal 5.
Good show. I don't really listen to Gomez, but it was good to check out the venue. Unfortunately we missed Jason Isabell (Of Drive-By Truckers fame!).

150/365 (May 30th, 2009)

Katelynn came to visit for a few days!
Janine, Hollie and Katelynn waiting for Melanie and Matt in Brooklyn park.
We walked the Brooklyn Bridge.

Melanie and Matt are the cutest two!

After a long day of shopping/walking the Brooklyn Bridge, we hungout in Justin's room for a bit, and PAT came to visit for the weekend!
Hollie and I
Janine, Dale and I headed toward the Lower East Side, and I met up with David and saw X at the Bowery Ballroom. They were awesome, and Billy Zoom was such a creep.

After the show, Bilmas and I grabbed some falafel from Ashkara (Best falafel in NYC, and possibly the world), drove to Brooklyn in hopes to find DanO and also see The Heartbreakers, but unfortunately neither worked out, so we listened to songs from The Muppets soundtrack instead.

36/365 (February 5th, 2009)

Too hectic.
I scrambled around all morning, trying to finish Othello, print out a thousand photos, frame them all, etc. I somehow ended up making it to class (semi) on time.
Smorgasborder was awesome! Hollie read a couple of her pieces and they were AMAZING.
I really really loved them. Everything was so vivid. I can't wait to get the hard copies of what she read so I can read them on my own.
The entire night was really good.

Tomorrow:
I bought a pretty black day planner. It has a page for every single day for an entire year. It even has the time, so you can write in all your dates and meetings. I feel so important penciling in those dates and meetings.
