164/365 (June 13th, 2009)

I hung out with Mat an hour after I got home from New York.
Best friends forever.

163/365 (June 12th, 2009)

My last day in New York! I spent it with Melanie, walking around Central Park all day. I, for some weird reason, did not go to Central Park before this, which sucks because it was AMAZING! I'd live in that park. For serious.

Melanie waiting for the Subway on 6th ave! We went and saw Twelfth Night in Central Park for FREE. Anne Hatheway also played Viola. It was the best.

162/365 (June 11th, 2009)

I finally got my film developed so I can finally continue posting!
I went to the New Museum in the Lower East Side. It was by far my favorite museum I went to.
Prior to this, I walked to the 5th precinct to meet up with Bilmas and try to get shit sorted, which obviously didn't happen!
I didn't do much for the rest of the day, but then hungout with everyone in Justin's room later that night.

We went and grabbed some food at this bar called "The Slaughtered Lamb" that everyone kept talking up. I thought it was only alright.

161/365 (June 10th, 2009)

As you can imagine, I didn't get much sleep the previous night, tossing and turning, worrying about all of my stuff. Thinking of all the possible "what ifs," etc. So it only makes sense that the next day would be jam packed with the ONE day of all the three weeks that was completely jam packed with school stuff. We went and saw In The Heights, and the New York City Ballet, and I could barely stay awake for either.

160/365 (June 9th, 2009)

Bilmas found this postcard on the side of the road while we we're on our way to the precinct to report his car stolen.

Oh right! Bilmas' car was stolen with all of my shit in it (camera, wallet, purse, keys, cell phone, you name it, it was probably in there).

Awesome night. Ask me to tell you about it sometime. It's actually pretty hilarious.

To answer your questions:
Yes, I lost about 500 photos.
No, it was not towed, we checked a bunch of times.
Yes, I already bought a new camera (Canon Digital Rebel T1i !!)
Yes, his insurance will cover some of the costs.

159/365 (June 8th, 2009)

Stoked.

Awesome day. Monica went back to Windsor, which sucked, but I hungout with Konstantin and Bill Cashman in Washington Square park, and then later that night, I headed over to Brooklyn to see Casa De Chihuahua who were SUPER FUN. I took rad photos. Too bad we'll never see em!

The Max Levine Ensemble!

Monica and I went and checked out a few more galleries, yet nothing really caught our eye. We headed down to the Lower East Side and met up with DanO and Greg Daly who was down from Philly, driving some band around. We met some dude who was super high. He kept calling me "Panda" and Monica "Deep Eyes."

This was some cool wall shit at The Cake Shop (which is where whatever band Greg was with was playing). We also ate falafel from ASHKARA. Never will I eat another falafel as good.
That night we headed down to the second night of Hillstock Fest with Bilmas. Just in the nick of time for The Max Levine Ensemble!
