Detroit, We're in this together.

319/365 (November 15th, 2009)

Lemuria played at the Trumbullplex this Sunday. I can't even explain my love for Lemuria.

Kid Brother opened for them and played their best set ever. My flash also wouldn't work because the cheap batteries I put in it exploded. Woo.

144/365 (May 24th, 2009)

Justin, Janine, Hollie, Melanie and I waiting for our flight to NYC in Detroit!

Melanie and all of her documents
The side of the plane I was sitting on swooped down and gave us all a beautiful view of Manhattan!

When we arrived, we found this vegetarian placed called Moaz that gave us SO much food (and delicious lemonade with mint!) for $7.
We pretty much all have a double room to ourselves, but poor Melanie got stuck on the NINTH floor, when the rest of us are on the third! She stayed with me last night, but she's currently downstairs trying to get her own room on the third floor. It'll make it so much easier because we both have guests coming both weekends.
After we all got settled in, we went to meet up with Dale at 55 Bar on Christopher.
We couldn't get in right away because it was PACKED, so we sat around outside for a bit.
When we did get in, it was worth it. The Jazz band was really awesome. I can't remember what they were called. Lage Something Whatever from Sweden. I didn't stick around TOO long though. Pretty wiped from the trip.
I have no idea what's going on today yet. I should maybe figure that out. A bunch of us are going to walk around Greenwich Village (where I'm staying) to get ourselves situated with our neighbourhood, then whooooo knows!
